How Does Onyfix® Work?
With Onyfix®, nearly all types of ingrown and involuted nails can be treated effectively.
- Your certified Onyfix® specialist will first roughen and clean the nail to prepare it for application.
- Onyfix® resembles a soft putty. It is shaped into a strip using a spatula and carefully positioned on the nail. A special blue light, which is safe and does not require protective eyewear, is then used to harden the Onyfix® and secure it to the nail.
- The hardened Onyfix® strip helps maintain the correct shape as your nail grows naturally. Some nails may need more than one cycle to fully correct their curvature.
- Once treatment is complete, your foot specialist will effortlessly and painlessly remove the Onyfix® strip from your nail.
